Each player is given three dice, a thunder card, and eight lightning bolts. A series of task cards are laid out on the table indicating different dice combinations and a sum. Just above the task cards are corresponding win/loss cards that indicate final points that will be awarded or taken away at the end of the round. Once someone yells "Ready?Blitz!" all players begin rolling and trying to match their dice to the task cards. Once you've matched your three dice with a task card, you place your thunder card on top of it and the corresponding win/loss card. At the end of each round, the win/loss cards determine how many lightning cards each player gains or loses. The player with the most lightning cards at the end is the winner.
