All Chevy Year 1987 Magazine Back Issues
Publishing began in August, 1987 in a full-sized format. It started as a quarterly publication, moved to bi-annual, and then became a monthly title in June, 1989. As background, Tom McMullen was the founder and publisher of Street Rodder magazine. McMullen published numerous other titles when this publication started, including Truckin', Popular Cars, Kit Car Illustrated, VW Trends, and Mustang Illustrated. In May 1995, All Chevy was purchased as part of a larger transaction involving multiple titles by K-III Inc. (later Primedia Inc.) for $55 million. Publication continued for a few more months after the acquisition.
