The second novel in the newest Legend of the Five Rings series.
Continuing the story introduced in Edward Bolme's The Steel Throne, Wind of Honor features characters that first appeared in the highly successful Clan Wars series. A 2003 Legend of the Five Rings trading card game tournament will determine the outcome of the series, so readers will become intimately involved with the storyline and have direct impact on its development.
Author Biography: Ree Soesbee, a game editor and designer for AEG, has been a major creative force behind Legend of the Five Rings. She is the author of the novels The Crane and The Dragon, as well as game books such as Way of the Crane and Wintercourt. She lives in North Carolina.
"The Steel Throne, seat of imperial power in Rokugan, sits empty. Ambition wars with justice and deception with turth as the emperor's heirs seek to gain the favor of the Clans. The fate of the Empire walks the edge of a blade, and before all is lost, the Lady of the Sword, must step forward to restore honor to a land in need."--P. [4] of cover.
