Riverdale is a fictional town somewhere in the United States that is the setting for most of the various characters that appear in Archie Comics. According to a Contest from 2002, Riverdale is probably located in Mississippi, where John Goldwater was when he created Archie.
Riverdale High was printed for 6 issues from August 1990 to June 1991. The name was then changed to Archie's Riverdale High for Issue # 7 and 8 from August 1991 to October 1991.
