Twilight Is Dawning: An Anthology of the Later Years Book

Aging is more than a progression of events, the sequence and purpose of which are fully known to a loving Creator. The life of each senior citizen adds to the very motar that holds our culture together. Each senior citizen has a story to tell and these are stories written in an effort to cast the senior citizen in the light of compassion and understanding. After all, to understand the aged is to understand ourselves. They are our heritage, and we are their legacy. ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Michael L. Benedict has served on the staff of a large senior citizen center as well as two large retirement communities in central Utah. As a missionary for his church, he has worked as a recreational volunteer at several nursing homes. During his enrollment at Brigham Young University, Michael received training in the field of recreation and gerontology, which culminated with a master of arts degree. He hopes that the reader will develop a deeper affection for the aged and that the aged will remember that they still have something to offer society and those around them.
