The Art of the Russian Matryoshka
An Excellent book covering the basic history of the Russian Matryoshka Nesting Dolls. It covers how it is made, the different types that are made and a few of the important places there were factories. They also covered some of the current painters at the time the book was written. The flaw to the book was that there were many other places to cover in Russia and beyond. Matryoshka Nesting Dolls were/are also made in the Republic of Turkey, Ukraine, Poland, Kazakhstan, Argentina, Columbia, Mexico and many of the places in Russia that were not covered. It would have been nice to tell to identify each type along with the history.
