Snow Drop, Volume 7 Book

I was a little disappointed when the other brother never reappeared - it really wasn't about twins. I do love this series though - it keeps you on the edge of your seat!

Third is a total manipulator. I love that he doesn't give Thor or the reader time to think through his reasoning or that all the events he uses as support are of his own making. I like Tiz's role in her relationship with Thor, she's so naive and open, he can bounce things off of her and know she's totally loyal. Masterful how Top was taken out.

Then the twist with Zagi coming in and wiping out the other rings, not just taking over but annihilating! It really helps Third with his own push with Thor to try for Beast king. I loved the side story with Chen still trying for Third all the while loyal Yuuki at her side. His death at Zagi's hand was incredible and heartbreaking for Chen cared more than she thought.

I thought the instant love with Karim was overwrought. While it fit the compressed story line of their lives I just don't get what was all incredible unless its only lust. Zagi's revelations about the beast kings was pretty cool. There are conspiracies on top of conspiracies and when will it all end! Still Zagi's plan was stupid.

I love the full circle effect of Thor falling in a crevasse with Karim. And of course we are starting to see the truth about Third. I love how distinct the characters are from one another. While this was a middle "book" for all intents and purposes it didn't feel like it!

BOTTOM LINE: Love it!
