Mother's First-Born Daughters: Early Shaker Writings on Women and Religion
This is an excellent book about Shaker herbs, gardening, cooking and history of the sect. Some really nice pictures are also included. The Shakers are important in the hisory of our country. They invented losts of medicines, hmade wonderful furniture and kept may hierloom seeds from disappearing.
