Montana and Idaho's Continental Divide Trail
Overall, this was a very interesting book and a rare one: how many people have walked the entire length of the Florida Trail? Molloy though could have written so much more, the book is short on details and there's places where he settles down and really spends some time on a region of the trail and other areas he hardly mentions as he passes through. Molloy has written a number of guidebooks, but he doesn't always write here like a seasoned writer: I expected more glowing, powerful, nature/travel writing. He's at his best when talking about the leg of the trip from around White Springs to around Perry. Here, his descriptions of local sights such as former turpentine production sites and rural grocery stores come to life in full. Also, his book lacks maps which would really have been great.
