Horse and Pony Basics
Another faculty meeting read. Our meeting was in the library. I like how our new librarian has actual books on the tables. This is about my 245th faculty meeting. I wasn't expecting much. I thumbed through the books on my table. I decided to read this one.
Never heard of velociraptor before. It means speedy thief. They were small (6-10 feet long) compared to what we normally think of dinosaurs. They were carnivores. They hunted in packs to bring down other larger dinosaurs. They disappeared before dinosaurs became extinct.
This is a typical elementary school book about dinosaurs: straight facts. There is nothing extraordinary about this. Dry writing, but if you want to know about these, I suppose this is what you want.
