Free Expression in Acrylics
As someone who is quite ignorant and a novice but who has painted for years, and most often in acrylics, this book was handy. Reading it, right from early on, the author helped me recognise that I have been too pedantic and fussy in my approach to capturing a scene. I have simplified my approach and technique but this has opened up my ability to express myself in acrylic, I am painting quicker, more enthusiastically and actually capturing the essence of whatever it is that has inspired me to paint better than before. Painting is actually less effort for me after reading this. In a way this book has done exactly what is says on the cover, it has helped me to express myself more freely in acrylic paints.
Also there are other handy hints and tips :) I would recommend.
