Saunders Springs, Colorado, seemed to be the place to be, at least on the surface. Pastor Scott Warren and his team moved to this town only a couple of years ago, opening the first full gospel church. John was quickly drawn to Pastor Scott's sister, Tarren. They casually dated until John's abusive, jealous behavior got out of hand. Tarren's many attempts to break the relationship off were ignored as John began to stalk her incessantly.
