Advances in ecological research Book

I liked this book for what it was and when it was published, but I couldn't help but notice some problematic illustrations - you follow the tree growing over 200 years, and when it's planted you see indigenous people in the background and you never see them again. While this might be true in a darker way (ie, genocide and residential schools), it's still bad as it leaves children with the impression that indigenous people no longer exist.
