A Mormon Bibliography, 1830-1930: Books, Pamphlets, Periodicals, and Broadsides Relating to the First Century of Mormonism Book

Making its appearance in two hefty volumes is the second edition of the reference published in 1978—covering the same period as the first. It contains 14,400 entries—from the first edition and the 10-year supplement published in 1989—as well as some 2,700 new ones. Some were newly discovered, and others were rejected from the earlier works but included here under a more liberal editorial policy allowing for inclusion of state and county histories describing the Mormon presence as well as some 600 relevant US government documents. Indexing is by title and chronology, and, in addition, by non English- language (24 in all)—for researchers who want to examine the growth of the Church in various countries.
