In A Very New York Christmas Michael Storrings captures the most magical moments of the holiday season in New York City in dozens of wonderful watercolors, which also have been turned into beststelling gorgeous Christmas ornaments which isn't quite a suprise if you just look at the beautyness of all these stunning watercolor paintings.
Michael Storrings protrays famous traditions like the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, the lightning of the Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center and the Holiday Train Show at the Botanical Garden plus Cynthia Nixon (Miranda from the show Sex and the City) has written a wonderful foreword especially for this beautiful book, which I fell in love by the time I saw the cover.
It's not only a wonderful book to own yourself and to look at, it is also a perfect holiday gift especially for anyone who has visited New York at least once. This book also offers dozens of suggestions to where to go for everyone who's planning to visit New York anytime soon.
If you like New York, especially during the holiday season you need to get this book. It's so beautiful I could cry and it makes me want to hop on the next plane to go to New York so badly I can't even. This book is absolutely gorgeous and worth the money. So if you haven't picked it up for Christmas this time, you should definitely do so next time.
