This wasn't supposed to be good! I thought I was just going to read an old Tokyopop manga with a silly title and have a few laughs, but doggone it, this book's pretty darn great. I'll be honest, I am definitely biased in liking this series - it's chock full of references from the early 2000's, so a lot of the humor is going to go over younger readers' heads. But if you're looking to relive that special time where America was finding the right mix of manga and graphic novel storytelling, you can't do much better than Dogby.
