This book is about the Lincoln Highway which ran from NYC to California...it pre-dated the more famous Route 66, which was not quite as long.
Since the Lincoln Highway turned 100 last year in 2013, there has been renewed interest in the highway and its many stories.
The book comes complete with historical stories about road trips when it first open and also it has plenty of pictures! This is an entertaining look at the Lincoln Highway.
