Review # 1 was written on 2011-05-09 00:00:00 Kenneth Lynch Laguna was a true pioneer in the field of Alaskan Archaeology. I have the utmost respect for her, and have admired her from the moment I began learning of her tales in my college classes at UAA/KPC campus. I would've loved to have had the opportunity to meet her. Definitely, one of the people I'd want to Sup with if I could have dinner with anyone (Dead or Alive) today. These adventures are worthy of late night campfires and historical reference books. After living for nearly 20 years in Alaska, I know that these stories are all important.

Review # 2 was written on 2011-12-17 00:00:00 Ian Smith right after finding this book we (my wife, her father, his wife, and i) watched a lightning storm break around the high peaks surrounding crater lake - that should be prerequisite to reading... more as it develops.
