Review # 1 was written on 2019-10-23 00:00:00 Jon Caruana A very nice and gripping read. The writer a former Mossad agent has given a personal account of his operation in 1980's to rescue Ethopian Jews from Sudan. The book not only tells us the difficulties faced by the agents in the operation but also the background of the story which explains why Ethopian Jews took refugee in Sudan and why the rescue work was carried out covertly. So it's not only an interesting book but very knowledgeable also as the geopolitical situation of that area becomes clearer. |
