Review # 1 was written on 2013-02-14 00:00:00 Jaime Pesina A good book detailing the histories, and suffering, of the ethnic Italian communities living in the country's then North-Eastern borderlands. Makes for a decent introduction to this topic before moving on to more 'demanding' works, such as the reports of the Slovene-Italian Historical and Cultural Commission.

Da apprezzare il fatto che sia totalmente privo di retorica e abbia il coraggio di riconoscere le colpe sia del governo italiano dell'epoca sia degli alleati, Churchill in prima fila. Un libro che, a parer mio, dovrebbe essere letto nelle scuole per far conoscere un evento storico troppo comodamente "dimenticato".
