Review # 1 was written on 2015-04-21 00:00:00 Andrew Oostdyk A fascinating book but dated now. I'd recommend to anyone staying on/visiting the Bund to take a copy and stand in front of the buildings whilst reading. It's well-researched and thorogh but could do with a new edition which includes post-2010 content.

Review # 2 was written on 2013-08-02 00:00:00 Carolina Scardine Frommers are the best overall guide to plan a trip. Other guides do a better job with illustrations and photos (none in Frommers), but the detail on hotels, etc. is a good starting point. This guide to Tokyo had three well-done walking tours in neighborhoods - wish there were more. A good portion of the book is online at Frommers.com.
