Review # 1 was written on 2017-05-24 00:00:00 Laura Heikkinen This field guide aided me greatly when preparing for my trip to the Mexican jungle - the Calakmul Biosphere Reserve - (from which I have now returned) to carry out data collection for my dissertation. There are coloured images (plates) of the animals and their tracks at the centre of the book, as well as maps of the area. Each mammal species has it's own section which includes the following: description, distribution (a small map is also included for each species), status & habitat, and habits.
