Review # 1 was written on 2021-01-04 00:00:00 Cliff Otto This is a deep reflection on modern technology and the future it brings us. Instead of giving us a solution to our environmental problems today, it provides us a tool, a method and point out a way to get us out of the desolation brought by modern technology. Wonderful book. I recommend it to everyone.

Review # 2 was written on 2013-02-08 00:00:00 Aaron Friedman I love that this book attempts to address the role of technology in social change by considering the way in which humans were always-already in need of "prosthetics." The book echoes some of Donna Haraway's insight about humans being cyborgs, but in this case Stiegler puts the observation in dialogue with Heidegger's discussions of what it means to be a subject in time.
