I read this book because the mass murder took place a block from my childhood home a couple of years after my parents moved in, and it was something that I was aware of growing up and wanted to know more about. But man, this book is so terribly written. It's self-published, and I guess the guy doesn't know any editors. The book suffers from terrible grammar and spelling, no sourcing, and on and on. The subject matter is an interesting piece of Washington D.C. history, including the much-better-known retaliatory 1977 hostage crisis, but this is not a readable treatment of it.

It is a self-published book that will have research value to scholars interested in the Nation of Islam post-Malcom X (early and mid-70s).
