Review # 1 was written on 2017-10-24 00:00:00 Trudi Chalom Did A quick skim of this and another book from the series (black cowboys). These books contain detailed information and a mix of expository and narrative sections. They feature period Photographs and illustrations. These books would be a good resources for a research paper. I’d say about third grade and up.

Review # 2 was written on 2018-01-24 00:00:00 Becky Ruechel An enlightening history of the RI slave trade before and after the revolution. There is an interesting documentary, Traces of the Trade, by Katrina Brown also available in the library.
