Review # 1 was written on 2019-01-28 00:00:00 Jay Sokolowski A laugh-out-loud chapter book about a nice kid who accidentally becomes a teacher's pet - of every teacher in his school AND the principal, all at the same time. The teachers', and the principal's, reactions were unrealistic at times. But this story is so funny and engaging that those flaws are easily overlooked. Part of the Jake Drake chapter book series by Andrew Clements.

Review # 2 was written on 2009-08-23 00:00:00 Nicholas Samson Okay, I liked this one because Jake solves his own problem. Even though he gets support from adults, he comes up with the solution on his own. He also sees that in the words of Popeye, "I am what I am" so he shouldn't have to stop being a good guy to be accepted by his peers. I think this series will be a great addtion to my "Guys Read" selection for my 2nd graders...Really I'm teaching 2nd grade? jiminy!
