Review # 1 was written on 2012-09-27 00:00:00 Gerry Berzinski I really enjoyed reading this cute book of poems about school! I noticed a lot of differences between each poem, mainly just how the text was laid out on the page. In the first poem about a school bus, some words were bold while others had upper or lower case letters and some were spaced out just based on the words. Another poem which really stood out to me was the one about the sliding board and I loved how the texts were written alongside the illustration of the slide! I noticed in each poem there is obvious rhyming in the different stanzas which really make the poems fun to read. I enjoyed the use of different fonts and colors for the titles of the poems because it made the pages fun to look at. Besides font, the illustrations were very cute and definitely added to the poems with the different expressions on the little kid's faces and the little details like ants crawling or little weeds on the ground. Overall this book was very enjoyable and I think that young children would love reading it!

Review # 2 was written on 2012-09-26 00:00:00 Tim Gordon This book was a very fun and exciting book. I liked how this book interacted with school. Also, I liked how it told a story and not just a bunch of random poems. The poems made sense to me and were easy to follow. I would say that the age range for this book would be 3 and up because as an adult I still liked it. This book is also has cute pictures so I would also consider it a picture book. The pictures in this book are not all perfect pictures they have parts missing but some are filled in. I like how the title of each poem is not just straight across the top but in a fun childish way. I do like how all these poems were very easy to read and understand, the words are very simple. This book was a good book and I enjoyed it a lot.
