Review # 1 was written on 2019-03-07 00:00:00 Thomas Krueger If you're looking for a non-traditional take on the average business book, look no further than Rock to Riches by Silber and Chapman. The authors look to rock stars for lessons on sales, marketing, leadership, and more. Written in a breezy, easy-to-read style that occasionally rambles a bit far afield, the book is nothing if not entertaining (who wouldn't love hearing all the business lessons Gene Simmons and KISS have to offer?). My only complaint is that the book could have used a serious editing -- misspellings of names like Led Zeppelin and Dave Matthews became distracting (my favorite was the Beach Boys' "Brain" Wilson.) Overall, though, the information is entertaining and useful and the book is easy to read.
