Well, I don't like cheesy book titles like this, "hidden", "secret techniques", etc... by definition you do not write a book to be sold worldwide about something secret, but I guess they needed something to make it sell... Anyway, to put it simply, Sokaku Takeda is the 35th Grand Master of the Daitoryu tradition. Morihei Ueshiba, creator of Aikido, was his most famous student. Nothing "hidden" here. As lineage is known. Excerpt from the book : "Many techniques describe in The Hidden Roots of Aikido are dangerous and should be attempted only under the supervision of a master Daitoryu practitioner. The publisher is not responsible for injurie that result from readers' practice of any of these techniques."
