Review # 1 was written on 2012-12-31 00:00:00 Jai Bylona This is a very useful overview of SIGMA models and especially with an emphasis on quantum field theory. Understandbly, it expects a strong basal understanding of the physics and math involved and doesn't go into the sub-fields it covers but is focused on the topic at hand. If you come to the book with a decent background, you'll profit from it. That said, I was rusty in some associated areas so I had to keep looking things up but that's no fault of the book itself.
