Review # 2 was written on 2015-06-16 00:00:00 Paul Baert I intended to read this book, not a requirement, just for basic information. It was a heavy book to read, literally and figuratively. Took me a month to finish it, but it was worth it. From every aspect of media today, with the history and the innovation it has come to pursue. The book is very easy to understand. It's colored, with the feel of magazine pages. Summary and questions to help you further understand the readings that has been presented. And bits of "dictionary" of the jargons that the common people might not understand. It also covers the business aspect of each media, the laws and issues are presented as well. Overall, this book is a great introduction to the media, if ever a person might want to pursue the course or just for basic knowledge.
