Review # 1 was written on 2012-10-09 00:00:00 Nicole Drolet-russell This book is perfect for students who are beginning to venture into the field of accounting under the business world. My only criticism is that the book doesn't include answers for the summary exercises in each chapter of the book. Yes, some would believe that the answers shouldn't be included so that it stimulates curiosity as well as critical thinking when they attempt the questions. However, another group may argue that the lack of suggested answers may hinder students from verifying their attempted answers. This will create uncertainty and uncertainty will induce fears/lack of self-confidence that may ultimately affect students' overall academic performance. Aside from that, the book is well written and the content is organised neatly so as to not confuse the students when they are hunting for clues to aid their revision. Overall, this book is the appropriate academic material for students who are not pursuing a major in accounting but just want a general accounting knowledge.
