Review # 1 was written on 2011-09-08 00:00:00 Michikazu Yoshioka I really enjoyed both stories in this book. The first one was humorous, a little suspenseful, sweet, and sad. I liked all the characters and their istics (characteristics). Aisgill and Henson were great, like big guard dogs with secret puppy hearts. Guy was a great brother, and the father was a surprise. I liked the twists and turns that happened with the memory and the ending was a great HEA. The second book was suspenseful, humorous, loving and exasperating. I don't know how Julia and Sophie are related. I still can't understand Sophie's meanness. I'd definitely like to pop her one, and poor Julia. There was so much back and forth between her and Hugo. But the ending was great, and the perfect HEA for them. I would definitely read this book and I think it may stay on the shelf for now. Good for a passing-the-time, rainy-day, cuddle-up, and any other thing I can think of. Enjoy |
