3.0 to 3.5 stars. This is a very impressive debut novel with a ton (and I mean a ton) of big ideas and wild concepts. Others have commented on the basic premise of the story so I will just say that it is a fast-paced enjoyable read.

PRISON EARTH portrays Earth as a penal colony where the souls of an alien species' worst convicts are implanted in humanoid bodies to live among us. WHAT AN AMAZING PLOT!!! And the best part is that the book lived up to the very unique premise- This is a highly readable, very well written book, which will have you in it's hold from page one! I was amazed at how well Mr. Scovell was in developing his characters and plotline- I would be hard-pressed to name another book so original- so stunning in plot as this gem. Very highly reccommended for all those who love great writing and very original plots and characters!! Rick
