Review # 1 was written on 2013-08-20 00:00:00 Jason Seifert I think she is very much on to something in terms of Jupiter, Pluto and various combinations (Aspects, Transits, Ascendants and Progressed Ascendants) that pertain to weight and weight gain. My issue with the book is that it felt repetitive, not well written and towards the end, tedious to finish. While I feel that I gained new, even valuable knowledge from the book, I did not enjoy reading it. |
Review # 2 was written on 2020-07-11 00:00:00 Matthew Curley This book probes both the history, the positive attributes and restraints of ancient astrology, and hints at why it was inevitable that astrology would shed its wishy-washy, fatalistic nature and resurface as a modern psychological tool for self-understanding. However the amount of ancient astro-lingo got in my way of enjoying this as an introductory book, so I'm giving this book 3.5/5 stars. |
