Kenny Luck writes a book for Christian men that inspires in ways not anticipated and bases his research on the Word and his own struggles with the world and the flesh. This is a book for the times as a war against Christianity is obviously underway.

Though this book is written for men, and is part of the "Every Man" series, it is just as applicable to women. A lot of times, I find the books written to women profitable, but 'soft'. While there is a place and time for them, I needed something with a little more of a ruthless warrior's attitude. I had reached a point in my life where I looked around and discovered I was so far down the wrong road I wasn't even sure I could find my way back. And when I realized I had let myself be led there, I was mad. I already owned this book, and it called to me from the shelf in my office. I remember picking this book up years ago, when I was a much younger Christ Follower, and I hadn't truly experienced a crisis of faith that required me to fight my way out of it. When I picked up 'Fight' this time, I was mad. REALLY mad. Fighting mad. Mad that I had let the enemy (Satan, the devil, the accuser - whatever you want to label him) lead me down a road I KNEW wasn't right. I LET him. And that made me even madder. Fight is not a book for the faint of heart. It is not a casual, comfortable read. At least, not if you truly want to understand how to fight back against the enemy's advance in your life and in the life of those around you. This book, if you take it seriously and apply what is taught, will give you the tools to strategically and methodically take the fight to him. Using many, many military stories, and drawing from his own personal experiences working in a psychiatric ward, trips into 'closed' environments, and fighting down his own sins, Kenny Luck lays out a clear scriptural battle plan that will teach you how - through a life fully surrendered to Christ - to get off the ropes, out of the ditch, and do battle with an enemy who hates and wants to destroy every human being, Christian or not, simply because we were created by a God who loves us. Five big stars. I plan to re-read this book often.
