Review # 1 was written on 2016-09-26 00:00:00 Peter Knowlton This story was really beautiful. I loved the protagonist (Growl is a cute little monster who means well but she is not always understood). I don't want to spoil the ending but it was a pretty satisfactory one, I'd love to say just what I like about it but suffice it to say I would happily read this book to children and discuss the characters and situation with them. Also Horacek's drawings have been something I have loved for about 2 decades now!

Review # 2 was written on 2014-03-15 00:00:00 Bernard Haake Fun story about a cute little monster who likes to growl all the time. At first, it gets her in trouble but then her growling saves the day. My children gave this book a thumbs up.
