Although it says "By Jim Hoskins," Jim actually only wrote the preface and Chapter 1 and edited the book. The rest of the book was written by four different authors, each contributing one or more chapters as ghost writers. We are credited only in the acknowledgments page as "contributors." Speaking for myself, I wrote Chapters 2 (IBM xSeries servers), 4 (IBM BladeCenter servers), and 7 (IBM TotalStorage), totaling almost half of the pages of text. Although dated now, it was a comprehensive overview of IBM's server and storage product line in 2004/2005. Mark T. Chapman (also writing as Mark Terence Chapman).

Good overview from an MIS point of view; great diagrams. Wish the book's 'In Action' (practical application) sections were more extensive; as it stands, the book is just too much overview with emphasis on rote learning.
