Review # 1 was written on 2018-12-20 00:00:00 Michele Fonte Incredibly thought-provoking and sensical... but about things that as a child (I'm 38) I never thought I would have to think about in my lifetime. Most importantly, the book shows how to think about these issues globally... how can you go through a carwash in New York if there's been such severe drought that homes are burning in California and Chile? Would it matter if you didn't? What you can do is more than you think. Everyone should read this. Exceptional. |
Review # 2 was written on 2012-05-04 00:00:00 Steven Robertson Living in Colorado, we are constantly reminded of the need to conserve water and sometimes left wondering why so much of it gets allocated to other states. An excellent book including historical perspectives, current management of our limited resource, and future difficulties as population grows. I learned a great deal about the system of water regulation in Colorado. Highly recommended! ! |
