Review # 1 was written on 2013-03-10 00:00:00 Kevin Pendergrast Interesting if rambling series of short stories, each centering in some way on fishing. The author paints a lovely picture of the Scottish countryside. At times the book feels long winded; he often takes his time getting to the point of the story. Some of the sketches are better than others. The book could have been a bit shorter and been much better.
