Review # 1 was written on 2008-09-21 00:00:00 Carl Girard Another solid, quick introduction to some of the great legends of the game (everyone from Rocket Richard and Wayne Gretzky to up-and-comers Sidney Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin.) The book is more about the great players and the great moments of the game than a how-to: readers looking for information about the sport would be better off with Thomas's How Hockey Works. This book will be a welcome addition to fans of that series, adding a multitude of little-known facts and trivia about Canada's favorite winter sport and some of its greatest players. |
Review # 2 was written on 2009-02-22 00:00:00 David Parker This book was pretty good. I think Charles Darwin was a changemaker because he helped the science of evolution. He is also a changemaker because he wrote books on science to help people learn about his discoveries. I think wanting to know more about the world might have inspired him to be a changemaker. |
