Review # 2 was written on 2013-06-16 00:00:00 Mark Tito I purchased this book on recent trip to Hawaii. The recipes in this book are really prefect for summer cooking they are quick and generally easy to make. The ingredients in the book are typical of the fresh Hawaiian produce featuring a number of dishes that include mango, pineapple and papaya. I tried several of the dishes and found a few klinkers (do you really want to put pineapple juice in your coffee?) but for the most part they took me off my beaten cooking path and got me to try something new. The Shrimp with the mango dipping sauce was really good as where the teriyaki hamburgers. I have now developed a new appreciation for Spam because of the mushroom, Spam cream cheese appetizer.
