Review # 1 was written on 2016-04-14 00:00:00 Donald Cawood The value in this book is in its brevity. For those who might be interested in learning T'ai Chi, it provides quick summaries of its history and it's philosophy. While it also provides step-by-step photos with captions of a beginner's T'ai Chi form, I would think that this section of the book would be useful only to students who are actively participating in a T'ai Chi class for reference and reinforcement purposes. |
Review # 2 was written on 2012-12-21 00:00:00 Xxge Xxge heavily academic. gets bogged down in the history of small details. a gracious thing to have this sort of academic research initiated by a modern practitioner with insight into the compulsion of training. |
