Review # 1 was written on 2017-06-25 00:00:00 Scott Simmons This was such a short book. Instead of six years of caring for her invalid mother, it seemed more like six days. I'm not sure why she chose to write such an abbreviated account. I was touched by how much she loved her mother and how she wanted to take such good care of her. I just would have liked more. She went into great detail describing how she would transfer her mother to the car, the toilet, etc.--the technicalities of how to move her from point A to B. I kept wondering when the real story was going to start. |
