Review # 1 was written on 2016-06-27 00:00:00 Debra Baird This book felt like an extended political infomercial about standards based education. I already want to try standards based grading in my classroom, and this gave virtually no guidance as to how to do that.

Review # 2 was written on 2014-08-06 00:00:00 Wade Murray This book is a text for a critical thinking course I am taking. The book is dreadful. It is extremely redundant, often unclear, and inaccurate. It recommends eight intellectual standards and doesn't meet them itself. It uses examples for concepts but they don't exemplify the concept. It pains me to have to read this book.
