Review # 1 was written on 2019-04-10 00:00:00 Damon Wright I got a gorgeous orchid at Christmas. I was struggling trying to figure out how to take care of it so I got this book from the library. I highly recommend this book if you are considering growing orchids, which can be a fairly expensive hobby. I'm glad that I did because I learned three very important things about growing orchids: 1) Growing orchids is pretty much a full time job. 2) The right light exposure is very, VERY important! My home has zero windows offering the recommended exposure. 3) My home does not have any of the recommended "micro-climates" in it either. As you may have already guessed, my orchid is dead and I'm not getting another one. Ever. This book has saved me a TON of money.
