Review # 1 was written on 2012-12-24 00:00:00 Vladimir Joseph I've had this for a while, but only just got round to reading it. There are a couple of interesting activities, but I'm not sure how likely I am to actually use them. |
Review # 2 was written on 2015-08-21 00:00:00 Daryl Cliff I believe that the synosis of the book has done a pretty good job describing what the book is about. I particularly like the way the author utilizes Anderson's concept of "imagined communities" to analyze the processes which encourage bilingualism in some children and not the others. And I also appreciate the author's acknowledgement of conflicting tendencies even within a school, owing to the different imagination of the different agencies involved. |
