Review # 1 was written on 2014-11-24 00:00:00 Scott Dubose I didn't end up reading much of this for the class I bought it for, but from what I can tell it's a quite useful book for someone interested in linguistics (particularly in phonology and phonetics).

Review # 2 was written on 2012-01-19 00:00:00 Richard Lewis An excellent, clear overview of a lot of the meta-processes behind learning a language. Probably not for everyone, though the authors make it as approachable as perhaps it could be, given how much they cram in this book.
