Review # 1 was written on 2017-07-25 00:00:00 Karamelita Felipe As usual Alistair Sparks writes about happenings in South Africa in clear terms. This book tells of how the whole negotiating process began long before the late 1980s. Members of the Nationalist government and others were in regular contact with Nelson Mandela, ANC members in exile and activists in South Africa. I found it quite an awakening to learn what had been taking place for so long.
