Review # 1 was written on 2011-12-28 00:00:00 Jason Wilson Eastern Tides by Frank Daignault was a decent read. As a biologist it's hard not to tisk and shake your head when you read things like, all marine mammals look alike, and sharks are mammals. However, there was something nostalgic about the ramblings of this old surfcaster that drew me in. Frank and his wife Joyce raised their four children spending every summer packed in a beach-buggy fishing the Atlantic Coast. They had many adventures and in this book Frank, now in his sunset years, laments upon the remarkable life he and his family shared.
